Typical responsibilities:

  • Design visual content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Create digital assets such as banners, infographics, and story templates
  • Develop designs for merchandising items (e.g. t-shirts, stickers, etc.)
  • Collaborate on the visual identity and layout of an upcoming editorial project
  • Prepare files for print and digital distribution
  • Support the team with design needs for events or campaigns

Desirable skills:

  • Basic experience in graphic design (academic or professional)
  • Familiarity with Canva, or other collaborative design platforms
  • Familiarity with design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools)
  • Good understanding of social media formats and digital content trends
  • A good eye for composition, color, and typography
  • Willingness to learn and grow both professionally and overall as a human being
  • Interested in social impact (mental health) and nonprofit work
