About the Voluntary Organisation:
Kavallieri Rugby Football Club
Kavallieri RFC is a vibrant rugby club founded in 1991 and popularizing the sport of rugby to the island. Today, we continue to build on this legacy, fostering a love for rugby contributing to the rugby community in Malta. This makes Kavallieri RFC one of the pioneering forces, especially as we became the first rugby club in Malta to establish a Ladies team, which went on to represent Malta at the Tunisia World Sevens Ladies Tournament. We are also home to Malta’s largest Rugby Youth Academy, nurturing over 125 young athletes across five age categories: U8 (Minis), U10, U12, U15, and U17. This ground-breaking spirit continues to drive us as we strive for excellence in all aspects of the game. Our mission is to foster inclusivity and provide opportunities for people of all backgrounds and skill levels to engage in sports and discover the excitement and values of rugby. Kavallieri has won several national cups, including the renowned Ray Elliot Cup, and boasts an impressive eight championship league titles. Our players are among the most capped in the national team and include several national team managers, reflecting our commitment to excellence and leadership in the sport
