Typical responsibilities:

  • Maintain social media accounts
  • Develop a social media strategy
  • Research content & update content calendar
  • Write social media copy
  • Interact with community through monitoring and replying to comments
  • Generate social media reports and assist in the preparation of annual planning and management accounts.

Desirable skills:

Essential:

  • High level of computer literacy, preferably with digital skills
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels

Desirable:

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing
  • Familiarity with web design
  • An understanding of the principles of voluntary organisations

The Malta Human Rights Education Centre

The Malta Human Rights Education Centre aims to be a hub for the dissemination of knowledge on human rights principles and ideals in order to bring human rights closer to the very subjects they deal with. Its goals are to bring to light human rights concepts to the public and educate right-holders and duty-bearers, to foster an environment for open discussion whilst bringing in the expert and inspiring voices.
