Typical responsibilities:

 

  • Typical responsibilities include daily care such as feeding, grooming, cleaning, laundry, dog walking, and record keeping.
  • Volunteers also spend time with the animals to help them build trust and social confidence.
  • Maintaining clean, cosy, and calm environments is a key part of the role.
  • Depending on individual interests and skills, there may also be opportunities to design and implement enrichment activities—such as puzzle feeders, sensory games, or other creative forms of mental stimulation.
