Typical responsibilities:
- Volunteer will be requested to assist in the running of land training sessions held at the Siggiewi Dar tal-Providenza Gym which are aimed at individuals of all ability. Sessions are based on indoor rowing as well as regular strength and conditioning training.
- The volunteer should help in the training of all individuals equally, from athletes who train to compete to others who train for other reasons, particularly for health reasons.
- Individuals who may need additional help and assistance include athletes who are training for competitions and thus need to be pushed in a safe but effective manner, as well as individuals having physical, visual, hearing or learning impairments (including ones who train for competition), an important component of our membership base.
Desirable skills:
- Basic knowledge of strength and conditioning training
- Good communication skills (English or Maltese)
- A positive attitude which is conducive to a positive and effective training session

Siggiewi Rowing Club
Siggiewi Rowing Club (VO/2036) is an all-inclusive sports club (SM/C/315) established with the aim of bringing together individuals of all ages and abilities and professionally guide them in their personal journey in physical activity and sport, with a focus on rowing. We pride ourselves to have with us an excellent mix of athletes, para athletes, and athletes with intellectual disability, all ages (Junior to Master), female and male. Some row to compete and excel, others to self-improve, for rehab, or an a recreational basis.
