Typical responsibilities:
Capture high-resolution action photos and candid matchday shots during scheduled fixtures.
Assist with on-the-day social media coverage, including capturing short video clips for stories and updating live score alerts.
Help organise post-match photo ops, such as Man of the Match awards and team photos.
Sort, basic-edit, and organize digital image assets after matches for quick publication on official association channels.
Desirable skills:
Basic knowledge of photography principles (framing, focus, action shots) using standard camera gear.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) and mobile content creation.
Strong interest and general understanding of football/sports events.
Good communication, punctuality, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently pitchside while following basic matchday protocols.
About the Voluntary Organisation:
SWAN Amateur Football Association
The principal activity of the SWAN Amateur Football Association is the administration and regulation of amateur 11-aside football competitions in Malta. As a sanctioned body under the Malta Football Association, we operate as a secondary-tier administrative entity that bridges the gap between grassroots football and professional leagues. Our primary “business” is the provision of a structured, disciplined, and safe environment for amateur athletes to compete in accordance with FIFA and IFAB (International Football Association Board) standards.
