Typical responsibilities:
- Plan, film and edit short video features promoting upcoming shows, events, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Take photos at rehearsals, performances, and special events for use on social platforms
- Create engaging posts, stories, and reels tailored to different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Social Media Management
- Event Promotion
- Assist with drafting short blurbs for newsletters or website updates
- Help design basic promotional graphics (using tools like Canva, if possible)
- Track engagement (likes, shares, views) and share insights with the team.
Desirable skills:
- Video creation & editing (basic filming, trimming, adding captions/music)
- Social media management (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Basic photography (capturing rehearsal and event moments)
- Graphic design basics (using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools)
- Written communication (writing engaging captions, posts, and short features)
- Creativity & storytelling (finding fun, engaging ways to showcase theatre life)
- Organizational skills (planning a posting schedule, tracking deadlines)

About the Voluntary Organisation:
Teatru Salesjan
Teatru Salesjan is a community theatre located in Sliema, Malta. It’s part of the Salesian community, which is a Roman Catholic religious order founded by Saint John Bosco. The theatre is not only a space for performing arts but also a hub for cultural and community events. Given its connection to the Salesian order, it often promotes values of education, youth development, and community engagement.
