Typical responsibilities:
- Events & Fundraising: Planning, brainstorming for ideas, helping out with Rainbow Family Network events
- Design & social media planning
- Video editing for social media content
- Content writing for social media
- Working with short term volunteers to achieve the assigned tasks
- The volunteer will also get the option to create and/or assist with workshops, based on their personal interests and skillsets.
Desirable skills:
- keen interest in LGBTIQ+ rights and equality.
- Knowledge of certain terminologies will be preferred, however, they will be briefed in the beginning of the placement.
Time management and organisational skills will also be considered essential. - Someone on a beginner level of design, writing and/or editing skills will be valued, however, the aim of the placement is for the volunteer to be able to learn, grow, and improve, so appropriate briefing, training and moderation will be given throughout the placement.
